The First International Conference on Uncertainty Theory (ICUT2010), organized by the International Consortium for Uncertainty Theory, will be held in Urumchi, the capital of Xinjiang, China from August 12-19, 2010. Urumchi means in Mongolian "fine pasture". There are numerous scenic spots and historical attractions, among which Tianshan Mountain, Kanas Lake, Taklimakan Desert, Silk Road are the most famous. The goals of the conference are to foster the international collaborations, and to exchange new ideas in the theoretical and practical areas related to uncertainty theory. Research discussions among participants will also be held during the tour.
