Uncertainty theory is a branch of mathematics based on normality, monotonicity, self-duality, countable subadditivity, and product measure axioms. The goal of uncertainty theory is to study the behavior of subjective uncertainty. Uncertainty Theory Laboratory (UTLab), founded in 1998 by Professor Baoding Liu, is a research group that focuses its research efforts on uncertainty theory, uncertain programming, uncertain process, uncertain calculus, uncertain differential equation, uncertain logic, and uncertain inference.
